Hello Earthling!

This November, 22 highly skilled sustainability specialists, artists and filmmakers will take an epic bus voyage from Southern California, through Mexico to Central America.

We are visiting selected Impact Centers to teach workshops and leave behind completed projects, including:

  • Solar dehydrators
  • Rocket stoves
  • Cob ovens
  • Murals and art pieces
  • Worm bins
  • Beekeeping systems
  • Welding projects

 

 

Earth Odyssey 2013-2014 is a mobile village that will leave a positive trace at six to eight impact centers and transformational festivals by providing skilled labor, professional media and publicity, and an array of workshops taught by our chosen Econauts (bus members) on living holistically with the planet. These 22 sustainability experts will be traveling across Central America to spread sustainability education and install regenerative systems in land-based communities. For example, we are building a science and tech lab from natural and recycled materials at a small school in Guatemala.

networkWe will strengthen the network between these centers on-the-ground and online to increase their visibility by releasing 3- minute films on a weekly basis throughout the journey and a full-length documentary post-tour.

Each one of the project sites that we are visiting holds the potential seeds for creating a new system of the way that we live as human beings in relationship to each other and the planet, and we are connecting to each project and linking them all into a network, Project Nuevo Mundo (www.projectnuevomundo.org) so they can better communicate with each other, and so enthusiastic people like me and you can find them and go visit them and contribute to building this new world. We are building a network for planetary regeneration and individual transformation and that we want you to plug into! Be a part of making this dream into reality.
