COOL WORK/LIVE-IN TRADE in MUIR BEACH

: From JamieLuv ToYou

“At this very moment I am sitting in the beautiful room that you could call home if you are the very special person I am looking for. I am searching for part time housekeeper for my client, the homeowner.
This unbelievable home is in Muir Beach. Spectacular ocean view. There are several amazing spaces in this home that you may at different times call home (the final room is jaw droppingly awesome and is under construction, so there may be some minimal shifting until that is completed). Each of these gorgeous spaces goes for a minimum of $120-200 a night on Airbnb and I think that is a steal! Each has its own contained kitchen/bathroom full bedroom, desk and is lovingly furnished. There would be space for you to have a closet’s worth of things. This opportunity is for a single respectful individual.

You would be expected to work for 20-25 hours a week.

Your personality must include things like being a self starter. If you see a mess, clean it up. If you use the last of the cleaner, put it on the list and get some more. Etc.

You must be physically fit enough to:
-HIKE with an Aussie Shepherd dog 5 days a week on the hillsides around the home in the morning. (Why yes, this is a dream job!). This is one of the more essential functions, so if you can’t hike hills, don’t apply.
-Clean a home. Washing floors, carrying laundry etc.

You must have:
-Your own RELIABLE transportation.
-Clean Driving Record
-Comfortable driving in SF and on winding country roads.

Your list of duties will include.
1. Walk the Aussie Shepherd 5 days a week, and fully care for the dog 1 overnight per week. (At times you may be asked to take full care of the dog for a week at a time when they go out of town, and you will compensated commensurately for those requests.)
2. Make Green Juice/Smoothies with the vegetables grown in the garden 5 days a week. (Yes, you can have some juice too!).
3. Clean Main House once per week. The main house is 2 bed/2ba. It is very rustic, so cleaning requires some extra elbow grease, and you would need to carry a vacuum up a flight of circular stairs. This will need to be done when the homeowners are away.
4. Clean and reset the other Airbnb spaces as needed. (approx 1x per week) This will need to be done promptly to prepare for the next renters.
5. Light watering of garden. Drought conscious!
6. Pick up and drop off the homeowners 2 daughters (8 and 10 years old) from San Francisco twice per week. Very rare/occasional babysitting. This is not intended to be a nanny position.
7. Occasional shopping.

You will be reimbursed for gas/toll/wear and tear on your car.

Some of these tasks are have flexible timing, some do not. The home owners will work with you to optimize a schedule that allows you to do additional work elsewhere, however it is essential that you be timely to pick up the children, and do what you say you are going to do when you agree to it. If anyone has ever told you, “Sometimes you are a little flaky.” You are not the person for the job. If you are wondering if you can do this job and go to all the festivals this summer, the answer is most likely :).

When you are not working you will have access to amazing beach walks and the large decks on the property including the hot tub. You will be expected to have minimal guests, as in this is not a place for a party. However, reasonable respectful occasional guests are acceptable. The homeowners are very reasonable, very sweet down to earth people who are very busy and need help to keep this home fabulous.

You will be expected to track your hours and your tasks weekly.

The initial period for this opportunity is 1 month, with the potential to stay on if everything clicks.
