When you enter UMEOS you are looking at a view of the galaxy and universe and all the star systems and you make a personal profile in which you become the star at the center of your own Universe. You can zoom in so that your sun takes up the whole screen, or you can zoom out so that you see the entire galaxy spinning. Or you can hang out at any resolution in between those extremes. You can actually grab onto the galaxy and spin it – turn it sideways so it becomes a flat disk, dive through it and come out the other side. It is a fractal way of moving through information so that as you get closer toobjects the data around them becomes bigger and more readable at that level and as you move away, you get a larger picture view with less details but maybe an understanding of overlying patterns.
In your profile, your contacts get dispersed around you as other stars. They get laid out in a pattern based on their birthdays, connected to the constellations of the zodiac. The people you have the most interaction with will be brighter and closer to you. The people you have less interaction with will be dimmer and farther away. This is dynamically changing so you can viscerally see a measure of your interactions with other humans. Your postings/timeline are laid out around you using the Oort cloud which measures 1 light year – as a calendrical year so that you can see your timeline laid out and move through it as you zoom further out away from your central sun (core). UMEOS can be downloaded to any domain – so other websites and orgs and businesses who choose to create a profile will also show up within the star systems inside UMEOS – your interactions with them will also be evident in how they appear in relation to you on your display. Every user’s display will be based on their own privacy settings and trust network settings/connections and constantly updating as to what info is visible to them (or others) and how it appears.
You can still have your website and exist in the normal internet environment outside UMEOS – and anyone coming to your site from outside UMEOS could still see your website as it normally looks – but any who approach you from inside UMEOS would have a whole different way of viewing and interacting with you/ your website and all content entered from within UMEOS could be viewed in this interactive 4D visualization/navigation. Also – the star systems view is just a template showing how the data could be organized and navigated through – this could be replaced with any number of other skins to allow for a different look and feel but with the same type of navigation.
UMEOS is designed to play well with others, has Github already built in, does not need to be the center of attention but looking for others to build new pieces and apps and amazing new functionalities that plays well with all involved.
SuperDom is the backend underneath it all which allows for users to add optional plug ins for building easy websites, adding a shop/storefront with sales/transaction capabilities
