Lyle Creek Permalodge is a 50 acre property located in the sub-alpine. The whole land has been logged and currently being rejuvenated. This is not an open community per se. We are working to create more of a sanctuary for people to heal, be off the grid and discover personal truths and develop empowering rituals for daily life. This is land with unlimited potential. Looking for creative hard working people to help collaborate with us to be inspiration and serve as a model for ways to produce electricity and grow food in high elevations for our surrounding communities 🙂
Volunteer / Internship Opportunities
Looking for help to Continue growing Hugelkultur gardens, trail building for access and recreational biking and running.
Other projects include maintaining micro hydro systems, building composting toilets, sauna, earthship and helping to host “enlightening” events and ceremonies.
In the winter, we function more as a backcountry ski lodge where there could be opportunity for a caretaker as we can not always be there.

Event Hosting
We host a few events a year.
Last year was the autumn equinox with astrology talks, mushroom picking workshops, cacao ceremonies and more.
We like to host live music and dance parties to celebrate our accomplishments 🙂

Educational Opportunities
Observe Micro Hydro in action, earth building homes, wild-crafting, chainsawing and maintenance. Always a learning experience when on the side of a big mountain.
Currently there are no scheduled workshops. More to come in Summer 2015. In the winter we host avalanche awareness course. AST 1 & 2
