Video of Permaculture Convergence – Don Tipping

Following Permaculture principals, how we gather and create new culture is of equal importance as how we grow our food. So please join permaculture master, Don Tipping and guest speakers at Seven Seeds Farm/Siskiyou Seeds for a special and unique event. With a 17 year cultivated living permaculture classroom as the hosting site participants will explore guiding principals and applications of generative living . Through land walks, workshops, speakers, and hands on projects, music, campfire, food, and fun, we will celebrate the abundance of life as we celebrate the Fall Equinox.  In part inspired by the chautauqua movement that, to quote wiki, “brought entertainment and culture for the whole community, with speakers, teachers, musicians, entertainers, preachers and specialists of the day”

This event is intended to look at where are we, where are we going and how can we do it better TOGETHER! People who have been to events in the past here can attest to the sublime nature of how the elemental forces are coming into a delightful interplay between plant, mineral and animal realms. This event is guaranteed to stimulate your creativity and passion for the land and all things growing!

FOLLOWUP:

The Seven Seeds Permaculture Convergence and Generative Living Gathering in Williams, OR in September was an intimate, yet potent gathering of community weaving the art of holistic living. Through hands-on skill sharing workshops including herbal tincture making, natural building projects, animal butchery, basket weaving and other hands on demonstrations, along with music, dance, community meals, stories from a Native Elder, farm tours, sweat lodge healing, and community connection time, this gathering celebrated the abundant harvest time of our collective endeavor. The ripe, sunny days barefoot in the grass and the cool starlit nights around the campfire made for a nourishing time for old friends to reconnect and new friends to align as we deepened our connection to the Earth and each other.
