INTRODUCING:
The TCN Seed Initiative
“At it’s heart, Tribal Convergence is a family. Our gatherings have focused on uniting people from many homes to rekindle a sense that we are home everywhere, that we have a purpose and a place, that we are met and seen authentically as we all remember what it is to be truly whole.
As we weave together the diverse stories of our kin, we also unify our common story, the threads that bind us to this rich collective tapestry, fortifying our communities, strengthening our alliances. This is a story of learning, of sharing, of service, of heart, and of celebration at the end of a long day’s work for the legacy we are building for future generations.
This story continues, renewed, as we SEED regional action through our new format of TCN gatherings. Held in partnership with local community organizers, we are creating the template for TC events to be held in multiple regions, with the flavor and essence of that region featured, along with the values and vision of TCN, in order to support thriving community hubs and regional action.”

Greetings TCN Kin & All Our Relations!
As we maneuver through the continuing evolutions and emergences that are TCN’s unfolding, we have found that the requests from community regions to host TC gatherings have far outweighed our capacity to produce them! We find this to be not a problem but a tremendous compliment. In honor of this huge interest in bringing the activation and electrification of TC programming to as many communities as wish to receive it, we have developed the TCN Seed Initiative. This will be a long term program rolling out in multiple layers whose first role is to create templates and systems of mentoring, community consulting, resources, and support to help empower local leadership to produce TCN Seed Gatherings themselves with our guidance around specific programming elements that make TC events such epic networking, relations building, and activating experiences.
It is part of our TCN ethos that we aim to produce our gatherings whenever possible on community held land so that we may “Leave It Better” by incorporating community driven infrastructure projects as part of our programming. In this way, as we gather in celebration and learning, we are also bolstering our land hubs and weaving our intra-regional bonds into the tight-knit web of kin that works, plays, and builds together! By expanding this programming to a wider network we hope to strengthen the land-based network of community hubs and provide an international web of resilient aligned collaborative and mutually supporting communities! We are SO excited to be weaving with you brilliant humans and this Initiative feels like the birthing of some potent juicy collaborations to come!
We will elaborate more soon on how to engage in this process, so if you are a community leader eager to host a Tribal Convergence in your region, keep your eyes and ears peeled as we will be releasing links in the near future for tangible next steps in this co-creative process.
For now, we are excited, honored and proud to announce the Inaugural TCN Seed Gathering will be held Sept 11-14, 2014 at Our Sacred Acres in Snohomish, Washington. DreamGeneration will be produced by the Salish Sea Tribe in collaboration with TCN as the first example of how this template will work. Jamaica Stevens will serve as the primary liaison and Ambassador Mentor representing TCN in this collaboration, with Aokha serving in a supportive role. Danielle Gennety will serve as the Lead Contact from the Salish Sea Tribe, representing a potent activated team of inspired leaders and event producers from the Salish Sea region. This will be a TC-style delegational leadership gathering with representation from all of our active regions as well as nomads and wild cards. This should be an epic community relations building and networking affair so save the date now and start reaching out to your community to help decide among yourselves who in your community should be nominated to attend as your regional representatives. The invitation process will begin soon and more information will be released as to how to engage in this process, especially if you do not associate yourself with a specific region or a region that is not yet active with TCN.
We are in deep gratitude to all the helping hands, and dedicated support which have made these new evolutions possible. We are in the process of upgrading our website, so very soon there will be a lot more information available as to how the Seed Initiative works and we will be sure to announce that as soon as it is available. For now: Read more about DreamGeneration and how you can participate in the next segment of this newsletter!
