THE EVENT

In our journey to the XIV Vision Council “The Call of the Sage” we come to the beautiful Teopantli Kalpulli Community located on the edge of the Bosque la Primavera (Spring Forest).

 

“The Call of the Sage” is a nonprofit family event to increase the awareness of our great responsibility to actively restore and protect the environment, the original indigenous cultures, the health of the family and our communities. This is a congregation for learning, activating social workers, and catalyzing collective and personal growth, which promotes the values and disciplines needed to live a sustainable present.

The learning experience, coexistence and celebration are in a spirit of autonomy, cooperation, observation and respect.

WELCOME!

Among many other things, this event is an exercise of self-sustainability and self-management. It is about creating the ceremonial eco-utopia of an ephemeral peace village together, where we are all responsible for the result. It implies changing the programmed paradigms: instead of seeing everything from an individualistic and self-advantageous point of view, the idea is to place the collective wellbeing and goals (and those of Mother Earth), before the individual ones. We are changing our anthropocentrist vision to a biocentrist vision (from being centered on the human being to being centered on life).

The essential elements for success and individual growth within this collective exercise are: cooperation, participation, action, creativity, initiative, connection, responsibility, openness, good will, dedication, consensus and awareness of change.

The quality of the event, the security, the meals, the camp, the program… it all depends on you, on your participation. We want you to be a co-creator of the event, to care for the spaces, to be aware that your initiatives can and should give color and personality to the gathering. The fun, the learning, comes from working and playing together to create a ceremonial eco-village in a tribal atmosphere.

For a week we become an interconnected and self-organized tribe, we set up a camp and a program whose quality depends on everyone, on our creativity, initiative and participation… If you only come to party, you will miss the essence of the event and the opportunity for learning and growth. We expect your complete dedication, we want you to show us your inner strength and beauty, we want you to be able to share your gifts to the world, but most of all: we desire to learn from you and to share all our knowledge, abundance, traditions and harmony among our tribes, from our heart to your heart…

To give yourself up to experience and to participate in its co-creation are the keys to together understand and live the concept of deep ecology, and together enter the path of beauty. Welcome to the Vision Council!
